Family owned and operated Specialty Chemical Distributor Trans Western Chemicals has agreed to an exclusive distribution agreement with Fuji Silysia Chemical, Ltd. for the Western United States.

Beginning January 2020, Trans Western Chemicals will be representing Fuji Silysia’s full line of synthetic amorphous silica for Paint & Coatings, Inks & Printing, Plastics, Food, and Personal Care.

Trans Western Chemicals focuses on offering specialties such as resins, additives, pigments, and formulating chemicals to the CASE, Plastics, Rubber, HINI, and Personal Care markets. “Fuji’s line of silica gels are an excellent addition to our portfolio of specialty chemicals, and we’re excited to begin this new partnership,” said John Kirsch VP of Operations at Trans Western Chemicals, “Our expertise and market knowledge allow us to effectively support the needs of our customers while growing Fuji Silysia’s business in the Western US.”

Trans Western Chemicals donated $1,000 to the Movember Foundation helping fund ground breaking work in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Both John Kirsch and Mike Cook participated by growing out their mustache’s. We were happy to have two of our own working for such a worthy cause.

Heres what's happening at Trans Western Chemicals - November 2019

The team at Trans Western Chemicals celebrated Halloween in true spooktacular fashion. Izzy coordinated a wonderful potluck in the TWC office and everyone dressed up for the event. Jacquie decorated the entire office for the month of October……enter at your own risk. We held a competition for best costume, most halloween spirit, and the dish with the most halloween spirit.

It was an extremely exciting time and I was so happy to share this with the team. Even our sales guy from out of state participated in the festivities.

Songwon International-Americas, Inc. signed an exclusive agreement with a new distribution network in the US, which includes Trans Western Chemicals (west coast), Chem-Materials (mid-west/southeast) and Callahan Chemical Company (northeast). Now fully operational, the network is supplying SONGWON’s complete line of UV absorbers, HALS, photoinitiators, and antioxidants for the coatings, inks and related markets in the respective regions within the US.
